  Highly recommend. Lovely views, well-designed grounds, duck ponds, walkways with vintage bridges, forests, and of course the Hudson River.
  Our comfy vintage room was freshened with contemporary designer touches. Two amazingly comfortable overstuffed chairs.
  Bathroom featured a large slanted skylight in the shower.
  Pool is smallish for lap swimming, but the pool building is an architectural gem. Glass encased, with dramatic ceiling. Gorgeous, dark stone shower in the locker room.
  Most of the staff was friendly and helpful.
  There were a few quibbles. For example: room nightlights were glaringly harsh; no shelving in the bathroom to store toiletries; no place to hang wet swimsuits - (a retractable clothesline in the shower would've been welcome); no desk in the room; extra vanity mirror needed in the room, while spouse uses bathroom; and most disappointing, after 2 days of awkwardly trying to swim laps, just as we were leaving, I learned that the pool is equipped with a device to generate a resistance current. There were no signs for the device, and the attendants didn't tell me about it. That was a bummer.
  Otherwise, exceeded expectations, and highly recommended.

  First time at buttermilk falls. Enjoyed a hot stone massage, and the many other amenities (dry and wet sauna, swimming pool, complimentary drinks). Would definitely go again.

  We had a PMI Chapter training and education session at the barn. The facility is fantastic, the staff is professional and courteous, and the food and atmosphere are great. It's a great place to have any event.
